wanaka!

this weekend me and the girls went up to wanaka...me paula, alex and casey.

we stayed at base hostel which was super nice for a hostel and it was right above the mint bar which was pretty damn convienent. i also got hit on by a girl the first night at mint...it was pretty funny. she was like...(at the end of the night)..i just have to say, you have a nice rack...and if you played for my team, id tell you, you are smokin hot. haaaa so funny.

the next day we went up to cardrona, and it was such a good day. there are some pics posted below of the mountain and riding. i did a nice bs to faceplant taco on the cbox...oh yeah and i bumped into ty walker in the lift line...so nuts! that girls freaking amazing, haha..so random to see her in nz.

then sat night was crazzzy. paula wasnt feeling well and alex decided to stay in so me and casey went out alone. we went to mint and it was absolutely dead so then this kid convinced us to go over to red rock bar and it ended up that he was friends with the hitchhiker we picked up on the way home from the mountain so that was cool cuz we got to hang with him too.

the bar was fun..i met some kid from westbrook ct (the small town next to me) which is so crazy and just goes to show you how small the world really is. and then we schooled some kids in pool which was fun. we met some crazy kids named guy and addison (and i forget the others) and then guy wasnt allowed back in the bar so they convinced us to come chill at their house for a bit. and then me, casey and our friend sarah walked, and walked and walked and walked and walked....for 45 minutes in the freeeezing cold to these kids house. they taught us some kiwi game called freeman...really stupid and we ate lots of ramen noodles. and then it was like 4am and addison decided to show us his bombbb turntable. we got to scratch and learn all about them and dance for a few hours...super sick. we took shots of whiskey at 5 am and at somepoint fell asleep in the same bed for about an hour..

we went to cardrona again this day and i taught paula some tricks in the park. she even hit the up box which had a gnarly drop off! go paula! finnish girls are nuts...haha we actually met some finnish pro girls on the lift one time and it wasnt till 10 minutes into the ride that paula realized they were speaking finnish!

after that we took some nice pics in wanaka and headed back to dunners...it was overall an amazingly fun weekend...i guess sometimes it is nice to have a girls day(s) out.
